Environmental Rights have become a great challenge for cities and territories all over the world, since their defense, guarantee and promotion entails the conservation and sustainability of the spaces we inhabit.
Cooperation between nations, communities, groups, and collectives in order to find solutions that ensure the availability, accessibility, and affordability of these rights on a personal and social level is undoubtedly one of the greatest objectives in all regions.
The call to open our eyes to develop opportunities through which we can contribute to the preservation of the environment, and therefore, of the people and societies that make up ecosystems is a major challenge. Environmental Rights invite us to dream about new possibilities in cities, such as the recovery of rivers, lakes, and green areas. Beyond that, they also call for the re-generation of spaces based on the commitment, co-responsibility, sensitivity and awareness of each of the people who live in them, because in some way they are our homes, our territories.
