No olvide informar a su banco emisor que estará en Bogotá para habilitar el uso de su tarjeta.     Banking hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Most banks and hotels accept international credit cards. ATMs are available throughout Bogotá. Dollars and Euros can also be exchanged at exchange houses.
    Spanish is the official language of Colombia.

    The 2005 official census identified 68 indigenous languages, spoken in communities totaling some 850,000 people. These languages belong to three groups: the first corresponds to the Creole dialects spoken in the continental Caribbean by the Raizal and Palenquero communities. The second group corresponds to the Indo-European languages, which include Romanes or Romani, and its variants spoken by the Roma or Gypsy population; and the third group corresponds to the Indo-American or indigenous languages themselves.
    The temperature in Bogota is constant throughout the year and ranges between 13°C and 19°C (55°F and 68°F). Bogota is characterized by a temperate climate, high solar radiation and intermittent rainfall, it is advisable to be prepared for partly sunny days with the possibility of rain.
